Internal reinforcement ensures that your door seal cannot be pressed after installation by the pressure of the side window at the top of the targa bracket/rollbar so that your rubber remains firmly in profile at this important position and there is little or no gap/space between the door seal and the side window(s) (The white marking tape just shows you the position of the internal reinforcement and can/must be removed after installation)
